Accurate. Earlier. Detection.
Amplified Sciences is focused on providing innovative diagnostic tests that enable earlier detection, risk stratification, and monitoring of challenging diseases.

About Us

Amplified Sciences is a diagnostics company committed to providing answers for clinicians diagnosing, treating and monitoring challenging diseases. The company is built on an innovative and proprietary ultra-sensitive optical reporter platform technology leveraging novel dyes supported with composition of matter IP. Our leadership team has the product development expertise and commercial acumen to identify, innovate, and commercialize a diversified portfolio of diagnostic products in markets with unmet clinical needs. Our team’s expertise in research and product development combined with commercial stage experience fuels our ability to provide meaningful solutions that will impact standard of care.

Corporate history

Amplified Sciences was spun out of Purdue University in 2016. The Founder and inventor of the underlying technology is Purdue University professor and entrepreneur Vincent Jo Davisson, PhD. Our ultra-sensitive optical reporter technology operates with novel dye chemistry and chemometric tools to form a highly versatile clinical assay platform. The lead assay in development targets early detection of undiagnosed pancreatic cancers in high-risk patients. Co-founder Diana Caldwell, MBA met Dr. Davisson while serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at The Purdue Foundry. They joined forces in 2019 and have been focused on assembling the right team, delivering excellence in their R&D lab, and translating novel assays through regulatory clearance and commercial availability. With partners who have invested capital, research expertise, spectroscopy know-how, clinical insights, and commercial expertise, we have built a clinical stage company poised to launch the lead assay PanCystPro™ in 2024. The company secured regulatory CLIA certification in November 2023 of their Irvine, California clinical lab. Other milestones include key research use only development and funding partnerships, receiving several Indiana non-dilutive grant funding awards, and securing prestigious Federal SBIR grants from NIH-NCI and NSF.
